What do you do when your apartment block suffers a power blackout only minutes before the most important guests you have ever entertained are due to arrive? Is your fiancé, the very spoiled and very silly Carol, going to be of any help? Or will she just make things much much worse? First on the scene is your fiancé's domineering and fearsome father, the Colonel. Closely followed by a terrified Miss Furnival, the middle aged, repressed spinster from the apartment next door (who never drinks, of course!). And then things go from bad to much much worse when the highly strung and very possessive neighbour Harold unexpectedly arrives back early from a trip, and from whose apartment across the hall you have "borrowed" some very expensive Regency furniture without permission! Now throw in the arrival of Clea your ex-girlfriend of longstanding who, by the way, has no idea she has attained the status of "ex", let alone that you are affianced to someone else, and an eccentric (and deaf) millionaire art collector who could affect your whole future and whom you are desperate to impress! In the pitch black darkness, this all leads to an hilariously explosive mix that you won't want to miss! |
